writing a letter
If you write a letter to someone, do you think it will make a difference. Probably not more than likely they won't read it. Then if the do they probably won't do anything. it really is a waste of time especially if your writing to someone famous or like that. Theres really no use in doing it.
Where's your letter? Who did you write to? I can sympathize with your thinking that they probably won't read the letter because - well, why should they? But if they got 20 letters about the same issue, all well-written and passionate, do you think the chances of them reading the letters would go up? I bet most famous people have a staff of people who read their letters. I wonder at what point they would alert the famous person about the issue. At 20 letters? 40 letters? 1,000 letters? Maybe this is not the right place to start (by writing to a famous person asking them to make a difference), but - what would be? Where do you start when you want to make change happen?
